Australiana draws its soul from the landscape outside the door. Sun-bleached terrain, gum forests, coastal dunes and red earth find their way inside, creating homes that feel connected to their surroundings rather than transplanted from somewhere else.
The palette is warm and understated: raw timbers, natural stone, aged linens and terracotta, offset by eucalyptus greens and dusty sage. There is warmth without clutter, personality without noise. Every room should feel like a deep exhale.
Australiana also has depth. Rattan, woven textures, ceramic vessels and botanical art bring layers of character that let a room feel curated over time, not bought all at once.

What makes Australiana work
A handful of considered choices create that unmistakable quality of relaxed warmth. Get these right and the rest falls naturally into place.
Warm timber
Spotted gum, blackbutt and brushbox bring natural grain and depth. Visible in flooring, cabinetry, shelving and furniture legs. The wood preferably should look honest and real, where budget allows.
Botanical life
Native plants are more than decoration. Figs, eucalyptus stems, banksias and dried grasses bring the outside in and give rooms a grounded connection to place.
Rattan and woven textures
Rattan furniture, woven pendants and jute rugs add handcrafted character. These materials age beautifully and bring that layered, lived-in quality that defines the style.
