Moving into what client described as “a house straight from the 80s” and never having had an interior they were really excited about, this gorgeous couple asked for a scheme that would complement the grandeur of their new home while also bringing it more in line with this day and age. It was important to also maintain a strong link to their culture by making the home colourful and cheerful, both for the parents and the two young daughters. The last owners’ interior style was quite sombre and not at all the feeling my clients dreamed of for a welcoming and cosy home, so a dramatic change was called for, starting with the first impression : the Entry. Brown textural paint gave way to an absolutely stunning, classy and timeless wallpaper mural that is sure to impress as soon as you walk in, bringing life to a previously lacklustre double-height wall. Combined with details in black and gold, an oversized pendant, gorgeous greenery and beautiful furniture and accessories, this quickly became my clients’ favourite area and a great introduction to what else is to come as you make your way through a home they are now so proud of for the first time!
