Building your very first home can be as daunting as it is exciting, and when you consider the time consumption to furnish a whole house from scratch, it pays to leave it to the specialists. A young professional with a demanding job, my client was all too happy to give me initial guidance and trust me to transform an empty shell into a place he can call home. Having demonstrated interest in both the Mid-Century-Modern and the Contemporary Hamptons styles, I decided to add a few subtle touches here and there of the elegance and softness of Hamptons to a primarily MCM vibe. The result is clean and crisp, while also marrying modern with mature.
