Struggling with poor acoustics and unnapealling aesthetics visible by those ascending the staircase, my clients wished for an office space in-keeping with the adjacent areas which boast custom-cabinetry and stone benchtops. Having already gathered some inspiration ideas on the overall style and a beautiful rounded-edges desk top, they were happy to be presented with a different cabinetry layout from the original plan for a lighter aesthetics. Acoustic panelling and acoustic-fabric curtains address the echo issue while also softening the room, beautiful glass pendant lights introduce mood and highlight the artwork (later to be replaced for an original commission), bespoke rounded-edges floating shelves add a touch of uniqueness and smoked mirror doors, combined with a gorgeous Caesarstone Vanilla Noir waterfall stone top, elevate the separate storage area from the office cabinetry. Now a tidy and elegant workplace, conducive to cleaner thinking.
