Dreaming of a dramatic transformation to create a lovely space for their little ones as well as serving a multi-purpose function for the grown-ups’ storage, this couple knew exactly what they were after and provided a great collection of inspiration images to bring their vision into life! A pinboard was custom-made to display the kids’ artworks created on the custom crafts table, to which legs can be fixed when the kids grow. A reading bench extends out, specifically requested to fit a parent and kids at reading time while also including a little extra storage. The custom cabinetry decked out with colour-changing LED strip lighting and mirror backings adds elegance and wow factor when the room is being used for entertaining instead, providing storage up higher for the adults and deep drawers for the kids’ toys below. Decorated with wall art lovingly hand-picked by mum, this is a space that can easily be transformed with small changes into a more mature area in the future, too.
