A grand home of luxurious proportions but lacklustre finishes, these spaces were a great canvas for the creation of a serious “wow” factor! The enormous master bedroom with 3 tiny awkward windows asked for a creative solution to dress them while also elevating this wall to its full potential! Abundance of space and a small recess on the side wall made this area a perfect candidate for a custom-built ledge complete with gorgeous wainscoting in a splash of colour for an instant lift that is sure to impress. The gorgeous curtains created a serene outlook to be enjoyed with a glass of wine while relaxing in their own retreat space. Simple but effective, the timber slats by the entry door provide both privacy and an architectural edge, framing the space beyond which now houses storage and a chance to display some favourite pieces previously unable to be appreciated inside the walk-in-robe. Downstairs, the view from the entry door was brimming with untapped potential, while the room immediately to the left offered an undesirable view of computers and cables. By placing a display cabinet at 90-degrees, a computer nook now sits out of view and the entry looks onto a neat and colourful arrangement, beautiful new flooring and calming sage green panelling. The extensive entry wall with niches was brought to life by a neutral yet effective silver wallpaper, frameless mirror backing to centre niche behind a stunning tiered sideboard, flanked by ever-changing art in the form of framed TVs.
