Moving from a large house into a small apartment, it was essential to maximise storage as much as possible and create an interior that felt grand and comfortable despite being compact. Located in gorgeous Claisebrook Cove in East Perth, we decided on a contemporary twist on a coastal style, keeping it classy and casual at the same time. With the view of operating a business from home on the downstairs level, the space was completely transformed with bespoke cabinetry designed to create both office space and a kitchenette (cleverly integrated into the cabinetry are a fridge/freezer, microwave and the aircon unit), while serving as a comfortable Theatre Room outside of business hours. Upstairs, an informal Meals Area was created with built-in storage bench for best use of space. Final touches such as the multiple storage ottomans throughout prove that function and form is a winning combination!
