This property had a spare bedroom just behind the master bedroom’s built-in-robe that was not being used, while the master ensuite was tiny – especially for a grand home by the Hillarys boat harbour! Wanting to enjoy her home and add a bath for those particularly stressful days, it was decided the spare bedroom could be put to much better use. A new entryway was built across part of the old robes to link the two rooms and a brand new spacious ensuite was created, boasting a large back-to-wall freestanding bath, flush-to-wall toilet, walk-in-shower with niches for shampoo and convenience, double basin vanity, arch mirrors, wall lights and a spacious tall storage cabinet housing the wifi previously in the built-in-robe. Gorgeous terrazzo-look large format tiles combined with neutral subways laid stack-bond behind the bath work beautifully together, neither taking away from the other. Guest bathroom, kids bathroom and toilets also were completely redone for a fresh change and kitchen partially updated.
